The BIM National Seafood Awards 2018 winners have been announced. The awards ceremony took place at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin on Tuesday 27 November 2018.

Since beginning in 2016, these biennial awards have been identifying and recognising people, partnerships and businesses throughout Ireland's vibrant seafood sector under the headings of Innovation, Sustainability, Competitiveness and Skills.

The winners of the awards were announced on Tuesday 27 November 2018 at a gala dinner awards ceremony.

Who Won?

There were 11 award winners in total on the night chosen from 37 finalists representing the fishing, aquaculture, seafood processing and retail sectors. Two special awards, the BIM Best Student award and the BIM Lifetime Achievement award, were also presented on the night.

The National Seafood Awards is a leading awards programme that recognises and celebrates excellence in the seafood industry in the categories of Skills, Sustainability, Innovation and Competitiveness.

Winners of these categories were announced at a gala dinner event for 200 invited guests, that took place on Tuesday 27 November 2018 at Dublin's iconic Christ Church Cathedral.
