This schools teaching area of the site contains useful facts and general information on the sea and its environs. It aims to help teachers in involving pupils in a crosscurricular way. It is hoped it will enable the child to become socially and environmentally aware through learning about the wonder that is the sea. This should lead the pupil in skills and concept development, through the many Strand Units which can be taken from this site.

We hope this material will enable the student to become socially and environmentally aware by introducing them to the wonder that is the sea while also providing an enjoyable and rewarding learning experience.
